iPG-800

iPG-800 is an iPad app that emulates the functionality of some vintage synthesizer programmers from the 1980s. It can be used to easily program several analog synths made by Roland during that period, which lacked the tactile onboard sound shaping interfaces of earlier synths. Those interfaces, the so called programmers – boxes with knobs and sliders – were sold separately and are now very rare and expensive. This app offers the functionality of most of the programmers and even runs on the very first iPad making it an affordable alternative .
